Maths in Year 4

Below, you will find details of our past and current areas of study in mathematics for Year 4.  These are listed in the order taught, with the most current block of study at the bottom of the page.  We use the White Rose Maths scheme to inform our lesson sequences and resourcing.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your child's class teacher.

 

Each week

  • The children should be using their Times Tables Rock Stars login to develop their understanding and knowledge of Times Tables. 
  • Ideally, spend some with your child to support them with their Maths Practice Journal task each week.  This might be working alongside them, discussing their task(s) with them and/or ensuring they review and mark the questions (answers can be found here).
